You send 80 carts by hand and fall asleep on your phone.
The checkout of a live does not happen on a website. It happens on WhatsApp, where the customer already is. LiveShopia sends the cart from your number through the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta’s official one, with buttons for home or locker delivery, cash on delivery or transfer. The customer confirms; you get an order ready to ship.
How it works
The reservation creates the cart
As soon as the comment is recognised, the cart goes out on WhatsApp to the customer linked to her TikTok or Instagram account.
The customer picks from buttons
Home or locker delivery, last time’s address or a new one, cash on delivery or transfer. If your profile asks for a deposit, the bot asks for proof of payment.
The order is confirmed
With cash on delivery and no deposit, confirmation is immediate. With a deposit, after proof of payment. Then the shipping label goes out automatically.
Every text is yours
Each bot message is a template you edit, in Romanian and English. The customer gets her own language.
What it does not do
- It does not use WhatsApp linked through QR or other unofficial routes: your number never risks a ban.
- It does not send marketing messages without explicit consent; the live announcement only goes to those who opted in.
- It is not a general chatbot: it answers the order steps and hands over to your team when the customer writes something else.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
Yes, the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta’s official version. You connect it from the app, with your number, through a sign-up that takes a few minutes.
How much does a message cost?
Meta charges per message, by category. The cart and confirmations are utility messages; replies within 24 hours of the customer writing to you are service messages. Details are in the WhatsApp Business guide.
What if the customer does not reply?
The bot sends a reminder before expiry. If the reservation expires, the item is released and, if there is a waitlist, the next customer gets it.
How does the bot know which number is which customer?
Through account linking: @username, the last four digits of the phone written in the live, or a one-time code. After the first link, the cart arrives on its own.
Pricing: a small subscription plus a price per processed order; a refused parcel counts as an order. Figures are announced at the commercial launch; during the pilot the app is free. Pricing
